February 26, 2026

6:15pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

7:12pm          Female reported a missing debit card. 

8:53pm          911 received requesting an ambulance for a male having a seizure at MHS; local EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

10;21pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

11:38pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.

 

February 27, 2026

11:14am        Female reported being bitten by a dog while walking on Central Ave; Sheriff responded; case file started. 

11:23am        Undersheriff, Deputies, local MHP Trooper and Border Patrol Agent served 3 local warrants on one adult male, Howard Ereaux; male transported to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time. 

11:51am        Local Ambulance responded to MHS for the basketball tournament. 

12:56pm        Female reported a male staying in the Malta Depot and needed him removed; Deputies responded; case file started. 

1:28pm          Deputy transported one adult male, Edward Hahn, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a Glendive PD warrant; male later transported to Valley Co Detention Center. 

3:05pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

3:47pm          Female requested law enforcement assistance with a child who took off from the caller’s residence; Deputy responded; juvenile located and taken back to their residence. 

4:52pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

5:27pm          MT Child Abuse Hotline requested PCSO assistance with a report they received; Deputy responded; case file started. 

6:08pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.

10:28pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

 

February 28, 2026

2:17am          911 received requesting an ambulance for an unresponsive male in a vehicle in the downtown Malta area; Deputies and local EMT Crew responded; patient refused transport. 

12:06pm        Local Ambulance reported to MHS for the basketball tournament. 

1:30pm          Male reported a fender/bender in the MHS parking lot; Deputy responded; white forms issued. 

 2:10pm          Deputy performed a security check at Malta High School.

 5:13pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

5:14pm          Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, east of Dodson; second vehicle showed up to remove the first vehicle; Deputy performed traffic control while vehicle was loaded. 

6:15pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

8:40pm          911 received reporting a domestic situation at a Malta residence; Deputies responded; case file started. 

8:59pm          Deputy transported one adult male, Roman Morris, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Partner/Family Member Assault-Bodily Injury x2, Partner/Family Member Assault-Reasonable Apprehension, Criminal Mischief, and Threats to Law Enforcement in Official Capacity charges.

 

March 1, 2026

1:44am          911 received requesting an ambulance for a suicide attempt at a residence north of Dodson; Deputies and EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital. 

3:21am          PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport; local EMT Crew handled. 

4:57pm          Female reported a suspicious male in Riverview Park; Deputy responded; male located, was actually looking for his dog and was asking for help. 

5:06pm          Male reported being assaulted by another male at the Miner’s Club; 2nd male reported being assaulted by the original caller; Deputy responded; case file started.

 

March 2, 2026

1:01am          Deputy performed security checks in the Alkali Creek Road and Short Oil Road areas. 

2:05am          Deputy performed security checks in the Hwy 191 south areas. 

8:42pm          Female reported an abandoned vehicle on 9th St E and had been there for almost 5 days; Sheriff responded; owner located, advised it was broken down and would be removed the next day. 

9:02am          Undersheriff transported one adult male, Howard Ereaux, from Valley Co Detention to PC Justice Court for a court appearance; male transported back to Valley Co after appearance. 

12:42pm        Undersheriff performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

1:04pm          911 received reporting a flare up of a controlled burn, west of Dodson, along the Milk River in the trees; Malta FD responded; fire later controlled and extinguished.

4:46pm          Individuals reported possible insurance fraud; Sheriff handled. 

4:51pm          Female reported a grass fire south of Malta in the Ester Lake area; Malta FD responded; found to be a single hay bale purposely set on fire; fire later controlled and extinguished. 

6:23pm          Deputy transported one adult male, Roman Morris, from PCSO Jail to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.

 

March 3, 2026

2:19am          Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

8:26am          Male reported another male walking on Hwy 2 in the Saco area, darting into traffic; Undersheriff and Sheriff responded; male located, found to be okay and was trying to get to Hinsdale. 

9:56am          Sheriff performed security checks in the Saco area. 

11:05am        Female requested law enforcement assistance with a vehicle parked on her property; Undersheriff handled. 

11:15pm        Female reported a noise complaint coming from the neighboring apartment complex at Cedarview; 2nd call received reporting individuals fighting; Deputy responded; case file started. 

11:45pm        Deputy transported one adult male, Coey Walker, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Partner/Family Member Assault and Disorderly Conduct charges.

 

March 4, 2026

2:34am          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

5:45am          Female reported hitting a deer, on Hwy 2, just west of Malta; deer was off the Hwy and hardly any damage to the vehicle. 

8:37am          911 received requesting an ambulance for a female having trouble breathing at a Malta residence; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded; coroner file created. 

9:03am          MT Fish Wildlife and Parks received a welfare check request on an individual ice fishing in the UL Bend area; local Fish & Game Warden responded; female located and was okay. 

12:09am        Female requested law enforcement assistance with another female harassing the caller; Deputy handled. 

2:15pm          Male requested law enforcement assistance with an abandoned camper on his property; Deputy handled. 

2:54pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

3:22pm          Male requested assistance with a “mild threat” received from another male; Sheriff handled. 

4:09pm          Male reported possible fraud; Deputy responded; case file started. 

4:49pm          Male filed a harassment and trespass complaint about another male at a Malta business and residence; Deputy responded; male advised he was trespassed from the business and residence. 

11:20pm        Female reported a possible break-in to her residence in Malta; Deputy responded; no one located at the residence or the surrounding area. 

11:30pm        Deputy released one adult male, Coey Walker, from PCSO Jail on time served.

 

March 5, 2026

12:08am        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

1:38am          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

8:00am          911 received requesting law enforcement for a male with a gun to his head and juveniles were there at a Malta residence; Deputy and Undersheriff responded; case file started. 

8:22am          Malta Middle School employee requested PCSO assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy handled. 

8:32am          911 received requesting an ambulance for a male who fell at a Malta residence; local EMT Crew responded; patient refused medical transport. 

9:16am          Deputy transported one adult male, Klayton Waters, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Negligent Endangerment charges. 

11:55am        Deputy released one adult male, Klayton Waters, from PCSO Jail on bond.
