July 16, 2026

2:38pm          Female requested an ambulance for another female having trouble breathing and bilateral chest pain at a Malta business; EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

4:02pm          Female requested a welfare check on a dog tied up outside in the heat, with no water, at a Malta hotel; Deputy responded; dog and owner later located; dog taken inside.

7:36pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

11:34pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.

 

July 17, 2026

1:08am          911 received reporting a male lying face down at the corner of 6th St/Central Ave; Deputies and local EMT Crew responded; male refused medical transport; Deputy transported male to his residence. 

8:16am          Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving another male and a baler; Deputy responded; caller advised situation was a civil matter. 

8:39am          Male reported a train blocking the crossing in Saco for an extended amount of time; information passed onto BNSF Police. 

11:52am        Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle in the ditch east of Malta; all found to be okay, vehicle had just broken down. 

12:05pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

12:52pm        Male reported a vehicle speeding through Dodson and passing on solid lines, eastbound, on Hwy 2; Deputy responded; vehicle located and was not speeding. 

2:18pm          911 received reporting a grass fire off of Hwy 243, near Turkey Track Rd, north of Saco; Saco FD responded; fire controlled and later extinguished. 

3:04pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

4:34pm          Male reported his hay load shifted and it was started to come off on Central Ave in Malta; Deputies responded; Central Ave traffic shut down and traffic diverted until the load was re-secured. 

4:52pm          Deputy reported an abandoned vehicle on Hwy 191 south of the DY Junction; vehicle had been there since the 4th of July; owner contacted and advised the vehicle would be removed the following day. 

 6:09pm          Deputy removed debris from Hwy 2, west of Malta. 

6:17pm          Male reported seeing smoke on Turkey Track Road, north of Saco; Saco FD responded; no smoke or fire located. 

10:09pm        Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving 4 other parties and a possible assault; Deputies responded; all parties separated for the night.

 

July 18, 2026

12:31am        Deputy performed a traffic stop which led to one adult male, Andrew Crasco, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI-1st charges; case file started; male later released on bond. 

8:29am          Blaine Co SO requested assistance with locating a missing male possibly in the Dodson area; Deputy responded; male located and was okay. 

8:51am          Deputy performed security checks in the Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

9:27am          Female brought in a found envelope with banking paperwork inside; owner located and property later returned. 

10:57am        Female requested a welfare check on her boyfriend at a Malta residence; Deputies responded; male later located, was okay and would contact the caller. 

11:13am        Female reported damage to a vehicle at the caller’s residence; Deputy responded; case file started. 

2:39pm          911 received reporting a grass fire near the intersection of Hwy 191 S and Lodgepole Road; Ft Belknap FD responded.

3:43pm          Several 911s received reporting a grass fire on Hwy 2, west of Malta; Malta FD responded; fire later controlled and extinguished. 

8:06pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta and Short Oil Road areas. 

8:26pm          Park Co SO requested PCSO assistance with a death notification at a Malta residence. 

9:28pm          Female reported being harassed by individuals involved in a situation from the day before; Deputy handled. 

10:55pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

11:23pm        Female reported being threatened by other females; Deputy handled. 

11:31pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.

 

July 19, 2026        

1:06am          Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman and Hwy 191 south areas. 

1:58am          Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle parked at Equity Co-op and had several occupants; driver was on the phone and then fueling up; all found to be okay. 

5:53am          911 received reporting a hay bale fire on Hwy 243, north of Saco; Saco FD responded; fire later controlled and extinguished. 

9:21am          Male requested law enforcement assistance with a neighbor’s dog that keeps getting into the caller’s yard; Sheriff handled. 

3:07pm          Male reported a reckless driver on Hwy 2, westbound, from the Hinsdale area; Deputy responded; vehicle not located. 

3:54pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco, Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

6:43pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

7:43pm          911 received reporting a grass fire, off of Hwy 191south, and the caller put it out; caller wanted to have FD respond to check for hotspots; MFD responded and watered down the area. 

7:54pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo, Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

9:39pm          Deputy performed a welfare check on a female in a vehicle outside of a Malta residence; female was okay and advised she was staying in her vehicle and the resident occupant was aware. 

10:30pm        Deputy performed a welfare check on a male at Trafton Park; all found to be okay. 

10:53pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta and Short Oil Road areas. 

11:39pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman and Hwy 191 south areas.

 

July 20, 2026

2:02am          Deputy performed security checks in the Landusky and Hwy 191 south areas. 

4:23am          911 received requesting an ambulance for the caller at a residence north of Malta; no EMTs responded; two Deputies responded and transported the male to the PC Hospital. 

11:32am        911 received requesting medical assistance for a female in diabetic shock, at a residence east of Malta; local EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital. 

12:19pm        Male requested law enforcement assistance with a domestic situation that occurred the night before at a residence north of Malta; Sheriff and Deputies handled. 

4:16pm          Sheriff performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

9:49pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta and Short Oil Road areas.

 

July 21, 2026

1:33am          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

10:36am        Female requested law enforcement assistance with an issue involving a family member; Undersheriff handled. 

2:21pm          Female filed a written complaint about a vehicle passing and almost causing an accident on Hwy 2, east of Malta; Undersheriff responded; vehicle located and driving behavior was fine.

 

July 22, 2026

8:34am          Valley Co SO received a 911 from a caller reporting a two-vehicle accident in Saco on Hwy 2; caller advised no injuries to any occupants; Undersheriff responded; white form issued. 

10:30am        Male requested law enforcement assistance with a female, parked outside of his residence in Malta nightly, and did not want her to stay there anymore; Deputy responded; female located, advised to not stay in a vehicle on a residential street and needed to move to the park; female left the location without further incident. 

10:48am        Female requested a welfare check on a friend at a residence north of Malta; Undersheriff responded; caller advised she needed to contact family members for more information about the friend. 

1:38pm          Female reported damage to her fence at a Malta residence; Sheriff responded; case file started. 

5:05pm          Female reported her vehicle was side-swiped by another vehicle in the PC Hospital parking lot; Deputy responded; no damage located on the caller’s vehicle. 

6:33pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

7:32pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

7:40pm          911 received reporting a domestic situation at a neighbor’s residence in Malta; Deputy responded; situation resolved without further incident, found to be a miscommunication and not an altercation. 

9:50pm          Female reported a window on a closed business open in Malta; Deputy responded; Deputy performed a security check and all was okay; information passed onto business owner. 

11:23pm        Male reported a vehicle with flashers on parked outside of a Malta business; Deputy responded; all found to be okay and the vehicle was locked up.

 

July 23, 2026

12:20am        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

2:29am          Deputy performed a welfare check on a male near Farmer’s & Ranchers; all found to be okay, just out for a nightly walk. 

8:57am          911 received requesting an ambulance for a female who fell and hurt her back at a Malta residence; Deputy and EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital. 

11:33am        Saco FD responded to a haybale fire east of Saco; fire contained and extinguished by landowner. 

11:49am        Female requested a law enforcement civil stand by while she retrieved property from a residence north of Malta; Undersheriff and Deputy handled.
