September 3, 2026

2:29pm          911 received reporting two individuals had just been pepper-sprayed in a Malta residential neighborhood; Deputies and EMT Crew responded; AMB later canceled as patients were transported to the PC Hospital by Deputy due to exigent circumstances; case file started. 

2:31pm          Male reported damage from the windstorm the night before; Deputy handled. 

3:57pm          Deputy transported one adult female, Cheyenne SuddenBrave, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Partner/Family Member Assault and Assault with a Weapon x2 charges. 

6:42pm          911s received reporting a grass fire near Winifred; call transferred to Central MT Dispatch. 

11:57pm        Big Flat Electric responded to a power outage east of Whitewater and then closer to Malta.

 

September 4, 2026

7:51am          Female reported a male at Cedarview who was not supposed to be there; Deputy responded; male not located. 

8:10am          Female reported hitting a deer on Hwy 191 south; white form issued. 

1:20pm          Local Ambulance, Fire Dept and Deputies reported to the Malta High School for the Homecoming parade. 

1:27pm          Local Ambulance reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races. 

2:35pm          PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up; local EMT Crew handled. 

4:13pm          Malta business reported a vehicle parked in the alleyway, blocking the dropoff door to the business, several times during the week; Deputy responded; owner located and asked to not park the vehicle there. 

5:26pm          Deputy transported one adult female, Cheyenne SuddenBrave, from PCSO Jail to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.

5:27pm          Female reported a male harassing her; Deputy handled. 

6:27pm          911 received requesting an ambulance for a cardiac event at the Malta football field; local EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital. 

6:51pm          Female reported a vehicle blocking a driveway near the football field; Deputy responded; vehicle owner located and advised to move the vehicle. 

7:06pm          Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the Homecoming game vs. Shepherd. 

7:15pm          Anonymous reported being harassed by a female and wanted it to be stopped; Deputy handled. 

8:07pm          Female requested assistance with her disabled vehicle on Hwy 2, east of Dodson; local towing company handled. 

8:38pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco, Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas.

8:57pm          Two individuals requested a parenting plan issue, that had just occurred in the PCSO parking lot, be documented. 

11:02pm        Female reported someone “spotlighting” in the Hillcrest area; Deputy responded; all found to be okay, just individuals riding skateboards with flashlights.

 

September 5, 2026

12:46am        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

2:24am          Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman, Landusky and Hwy 191 south areas. 

7:06am          Deputy performed a welfare check on an individual sleeping in a vehicle near gas pumps; all found to be okay; male advised to move to Trafton Park. 

9:17am          Local Ambulance reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races. 

9:42am          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco, Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

10:21am        Saco Fire Dept and Ambulance reported to the downtown Saco area for the Saco Fun Days parade. 

11:35am        Female requested law enforcement for a possible domestic situation at a residence west of Malta; Deputies responded; situation taken care of without further incident; parties separated for the rest of the day.

12:16pm        Big Flat Electric reported to a power outage north of Hinsdale. 

1:28pm          Local convenience store reported a vehicle had hit a pillar near a fuel pump; Deputy responded; case file started. 

2:30pm          Male reported a possible fire near Bowdoin; Deputy responded; all found to be okay, just dry alkali blowing in the wind, no fire.

2:45pm          Saco Ambulance reported to the Saco Fun Days rodeo. 

4:08pm          Female reported a violation of a protection order at a Saco residence; Deputies responded; male later located in Valley Co and incarcerated on Violation of a Protection Order and Resisting Arrest charges. 

5:17pm          Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle parked alongside of Hwy 2, east of Saco; driver advised all was okay, having mechanical issues and waiting for help to arrive. 

6:02pm          911 received reporting a fender/bender in the downtown Malta area; no injuries to the occupants; Deputy responded; case file started. 

7:34pm          911 received requesting an ambulance for a male having seizures at a Malta residence; Deputies and local EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

7:47pm          Malta FD reported to MHS for the Homecoming bonfire. 

8:20pm          Deputies performed security checks in the Malta and Short Oil Road areas. 

9:37pm          Deputy reported finding a juvenile walking around a residential neighborhood looking for their mom; juvenile taken to their residence and parent advised of the situation; information passed onto Centralized Intake. 

11:39pm        Male reported a vehicle fire west of Malta in the barrow pit off of Hwy 2; Deputies and Malta FD responded; fire later controlled and extinguished.

11:44pm        Deputies performed security checks in the Saco area.

 

September 6, 2026

1:30am          Deputy transported one adult male to his residence in Dodson, due to his vehicle burning up in the above fire. 

2:22am          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

8:39am          Local Ambulance reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races. 

10:52am        Sheriff performed security checks in the Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas.

4:05pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

4:29pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

4:54pm          Female reported a decaying smell at a neighbor’s residence and was not sure if they were home in Dodson; Deputy responded; residential owner located, found to have been an animal that passed away. 

5:38pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

8:44pm          PC Hospital requested PCSO assistance with a patient who had passed away; Deputy responded; coroner case file started. 

8:49pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta, Short Oil Road and Hwy 363 areas.

 

September 7, 2026

12:20am        Deputy advised the Underpass was starting to flooding due to the rainfall; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation.

12:38am        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

6:38am          Big Flat Electric reported south of Dodson for a power outage. 

7:00am          Sheriff reported the Underpass was starting to flood due to the rainfall; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation. 

7:29am          Sheriff performed security checks in the Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

7:55am          Sheriff reported a dead deer on Hwy 2, near the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum; MT Dept of Transportation employee advised. 

9:48am          Female reported a downed power line in a residential alley; Sheriff and NorthWestern Energy responded; NWE handled. 

12:55pm        Male reported both of the Dodson railroad crossings had been blocked for an extended amount of time; information passed onto BNSF Police. 

3:27pm          Female reported hitting a deer near the DY Junction and her vehicle was not disabled; white form issued. 

3:42pm          Sheriff performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

4:20pm          Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving the caller’s grandchildren; Sheriff handled. 

5:42pm          Female requested a welfare check on a neighbor the caller had not seen in a few days; Deputy responded; all found to be okay and the male was out of town for a few days.

7:32pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

7:42pm          Female requested a welfare check on juvenile family members at a Malta residence; Deputy responded; all found to be okay.

8:59pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Hwy 363 area.

 

September 8, 2026

10:01am        Sheriff received a complaint about a slow-moving vehicle on Hwy 2, heading eastbound from the Harlem area; vehicle later located, stopped and driver advised.

10:51am        Sheriff performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

2:36pm          Sheriff assisted MT Dept of Child & Family Services caseworker with a situation west of Dodson. 

3:08pm          Male requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back from an ex-employee; Deputy responded; property later located at the business. 

4:04pm          Sheriff performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

4:42pm          Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving juveniles; Sheriff handled. 

6:56pm          911 received requesting assistance for a female who fell in her wheelchair at a residence west of Malta; local EMT Crew responded; patient refused medical transport. 

7:43pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta and Short Oil Road area.

8:50pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Hwy 363 area. 

11:21pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Hwy 191 north of Malta areas.

 

September 9, 2026

12:32am        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.

9:32am          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

9:36am          Female filed a verbal complaint about a situation with her neighbor; Sheriff handled. 

2:03pm          911 received reporting a forest fire in a location southeast of the UL Bend, south of the Missouri River; information passed onto BLM Fire Dispatch. 

2:03pm          Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle parked alongside of Hwy 2 in Dodson; all found to be okay, driver just stopped to rest. 

4:10pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

5:24pm          Female reported juveniles jumping into the canal off of Hwy 191 in Malta; Deputy responded; juveniles located, advised to get out of the canal and later released to their parent and guardian.

7:39pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

8:14pm          Deputy performed a welfare check on an individual sitting in a parked vehicle near gas pumps; female was okay and was advised to move to Trafton Park. 

9:01pm          Local convenience store requested a welfare check on a female sitting in a vehicle parked next to a gas pump; Deputy responded; female advised, again, she needed to move from the area.

 

September 10, 2026

11:57am        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.

12:18pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.
