Are you a dedicated leader with a passion for helping children and families impacted by abuse? The Hi-Line Child Advocacy Center is seeking a full-time Program Director to lead and strengthen vital services for child victims across North Central Montana.

About the Role

The Program Director oversees all operations of the Child Advocacy Center, ensuring the delivery of trauma-informed, victim-centered services to children and their non-offending caregivers. This position plays a critical role in coordinating services, leading partnerships, and maintaining compliance with Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Victim Services Leadership

  • Ensure timely access to forensic interviews, advocacy, referrals, and follow-up care
  • Support compassionate, trauma-informed services for children and families
  • Oversee crisis intervention and ongoing victim support

✔ Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordination

  • Lead collaboration between law enforcement, child protection, medical, prosecution, mental health, and Tribal partners
  • Participate in case reviews and protocol development
  • Promote a seamless, victim-centered response across agencies

✔ Tribal & Rural Outreach

  • Work closely with partners on the Fort Belknap and Fort Peck Indian Reservations
  • Expand access to services in underserved rural areas
  • Ensure culturally respectful and responsive service delivery

✔ Program Administration

  • Manage day-to-day CAC operations
  • Supervise staff and service providers
  • Develop policies aligned with best practices and regulatory standards

✔ Grant Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure full compliance with VOCA and Montana Board of Crime Control requirements
  • Prepare reports, maintain data, and safeguard confidentiality

✔ Training & Quality Assurance

  • Support ongoing staff and partner training in trauma-informed care and victim rights
  • Monitor program effectiveness and participate in audits and reviews

  • Experience working with victims of crime, child welfare, or related fields
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple agencies and jurisdictions
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities
  • Commitment to cultural awareness and serving diverse communities

Position Details

  • Status: Full-Time (Grant-Funded)
  • FLSA: Non-Exempt
  • Reports To: Sheriff / Undersheriff / CAC Advisory Board
  • Travel: Regular travel throughout the Hi-Line region required
  • Schedule: Occasional evenings/weekends as needed
  • Health Insurance Coverage - 100% premium paid by employer for employee and immediate family members
  • Salary - $21.00 per hour with annual raises
