April 30, 2026

4:19pm          Deputy performed residential security checks in the Malta area. 

10:58pm        Deputy performed building security checks in the Trafton Park area. 

8:10pm          911 received reporting a family member had passed away at a Saco residence; Deputies responded; coroner case file started. 

9:57pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

11:03pm        Malta tavern employee reported some “sketchy” individuals at the bar and requested an escort to her vehicle at closing time; Deputy handled.

 

May 1, 2026

12:02pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

12:16pm        Female reported being harassed by another female at a cabin in Zortman; Deputy handled. 

1:02pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

1:39pm          Female reported a vehicle, on Hwy 2 eastbound from Dodson, all over the Hwy; Deputy responded; vehicle located and never crossed the yellow or white lines. 

3:49pm          Male reported juveniles throwing things at his residence in Malta; Deputy responded; juveniles not located. 

5:15pm          911 received requesting assistance for a vehicle that ran out of fuel; local towing company handled. 

8:20pm          Male reported a loud vehicle driving back and forth on Hwy 2, east of Malta; Deputies responded; vehicle not located. 

8:47pm          Female reported possible trespassing at the PC Fairgrounds; Deputies responded; case file started. 

9:24pm          Deputy transported one adult female, Jaymiee Stiffarm, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a local warrant. 

11:44pm        Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving juveniles and a family member; Deputy responded; information passed onto Centralized Intake.

 

May 2, 2026

2:39am          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

6:35am          911 received requesting an ambulance for a male with a surgical wound that opened at a Malta residence; local EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital. 

10:47am        Sheriff and Deputy responded to the PC Hospital for the Milk River Bambino Baseball parade through the downtown Malta area. 

11:20am        Deputies and a MFD truck reported to the Milk River Pavilion for the Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run parade on Hwy 2 through Malta. 

6:44pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

7:59pm          Deputy incarcerated one adult female, Marcia Thompson, to serve time on Blaine Co sentencing. 

9:09pm          Ft Belknap LE requested PCSO assistance with an overdue motorist report they received; vehicle was possibly in the Zortman area; Deputy responded; vehicle located by Ft Belknap LE and driver was okay. 

10:09pm        Deputy performed a building security check on a Malta business with lights left on; all found to be okay and owner advised. 

10:21pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman, Camp Creek Campground and Hwy 191 south areas. 

10:29pm        Female reported a neighbor’s dog keeps getting into her Malta yard; owner located and dog retrieved from the neighbor; information passed onto ACO. 

11:58pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo, Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.

 

May 3, 2026

2:40am          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

8:57am          Female reported a male harassing her at a Cedarview apartment; Sheriff responded; male located and advised. 

10:33am        Female requested assistance with locating a possibly missing person; Sheriff responded; male later contacted the female and was okay. 

2:29pm          911 received requesting assistance for a vehicle at Slippery Ann; local towing company handled. 

4:50pm          911 received reporting a vehicle crash near Cow Island Trail in Blaine Co; information passed onto Blaine Co SO. 

6:35pm          PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport; local EMT Crew handled. 

8:07pm          Deputy performed building security checks in the Cedarview Apt area. 

10:49pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

11:48pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson, Dodson Dam and Hwy 2 west areas.

 

May 4, 2026

12:41am        Deputy performed security checks in the east Malta areas. 

7:30am          Sheriff released one adult female, Marcia Thompson, from PCSO Jail on time served. 

10:03am        Several individuals reported a male asking for them to purchase alcohol in the downtown Malta area; Sheriff responded; male had gone to his room at a local motel; information passed onto Border Patrol. 

10:13am        Sheriff released one adult female, Jaymiee Stiffarm, from PCSO Jail on time served. 

1:39pm          Female reported suspicious vehicle activity on Hwy 2, eastbound from the Dodson area; Sheriff responded; vehicles not located.

2:01pm          Male reported fraudulent use of his Amazon account; Sheriff handled. 

2:04pm          Loring FD responded to a tractor fire, south of Loring; fire later controlled and extinguished. 

11:41pm        Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, near the Sleeping Buffalo turnoff; individuals were looking at the stars and all was okay.

 

May 5, 2026

3:45am          911 received requesting medical assistance for a male who fell at River’s Bend; local EMT Crew responded; patient taken to the PC Hospital. 

6:18pm          Valley Co SO advised PCSO of a semi that received damage from their Underpass and was now losing debris on Hwy 2, possibly westbound toward Phillips Co; Deputy responded; vehicle not located. 

7:20pm          Male reported a vehicle crash at a Dodson residence; Deputy responded; case file started.

 

May 6, 2026

8:38am          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

11:17am        Sheriff performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

12:58pm        Female reported a fender/bender in the downtown Malta area; Deputy responded; white forms issued. 

2:42pm          Deputies performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.

3:57pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

4:02pm          Male reported “mail tampering” in Zortman; Deputy responded; caller advised situation was civil and not tampering and needed to be taken in front of Justice Court. 

4:45pm          Female filed a written complaint about a motorcycle passing vehicles on a downtown Malta street; Deputy responded; male located and given a verbal warning.

5:26pm          Female reported ATVs and a dirt bike driving fast through Trafton Park and there were several children in the area; Deputy responded; drivers located and advised to slow it down.

 

A reminder:

Off road motorcycles are for off road use ONLY. The motorcycle must be registered, licensed, and the driver must possess a valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement before it can be driven on the streets. There have been numerous complaints to the Sheriff's Office for "dirt bikes" being driven on city and county roads. Citations will be issued. If riders are under the age of 18, helmets are required.

 

7:12pm          911 received reporting a beached boat in the Missouri River and an occupant that needed medical attention; Deputies, CMR Officer, Fish & Game Warden, Fergus Co SO Deputy and local EMT Crew responded; individuals located; patient refused medical transport; boat later removed from the sandbar. 

9:49pm          Deputy performed security checks in the DY Junction and Hwy 191 south areas. 

10:47pm        Female reported loud music coming from a neighbor’s apartment at Cedarview; Deputy responded; occupant located and advised to turn the music down for the night.

 

May 7, 2026

8:21am          Malta Middle School employee requested law enforcement assistance with two different situations involving juveniles; Deputy responded; information also passed onto Centralized Intake. 

12:17pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.
