April 9, 2026

3:08pm          Female reported a vehicle driving down the middle of Hwy 191 south of Malta; caller advised driver is an elderly female and this happens often; Deputy handled. 

5:21pm          Female reported a dead deer in a neighbor’s yard in Malta; information passed onto Fish & Game Wardens. 

6:20pm          Male reported hearing gunshots on the east side of Malta; Deputy responded; all found to be okay in the reported area and no gunshots. 

9:48pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Short Oil Road area.

10:49pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

 

April 10, 2026

12:59am        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

8:07am          Male reported an injured deer on Hwy 2, near the Wagner turnoff, in the ditch; Deputy responded; deer located and humanely euthanized. 

8:40am          Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Taylin Johannesen, into PCSO Jail to serve time on sentencing. 

9:56am          Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Coey Walker, into PCSO Jail to serve time on sentencing. 

1:57pm          Male reported a suspicious vehicle driving around his property near Whitewater and wanted it documented; Deputy handled. 

 6:30pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

6:49pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo, Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

8:12pm          Male reported his wife being followed on Hwy 191 south, starting in Fergus Co, continuing to Phillips Co; Deputy responded; female driver located and advised the vehicle disappeared; suspect driver not located. 

9:53pm          Female reported juveniles knocking over dirt piles in the downtown Malta area; Deputies responded; juveniles not located. 

11:46pm        Female reported a possible DUI on Hwy 2, heading toward Ft Belknap; Deputy responded; vehicle located parked in a Malta hotel parking lot; driver was sleeping. 

11:59pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta and Short Oil Rd areas.

 

April 11, 2026

9:59am          Deputy released one adult male, Coey Walker, from PCSO Jail on time served. 

2:50pm          911s received reporting a vehicle accident on the reservation; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE. 

3:28pm          911 received requesting medical assistance for an unresponsive juvenile being transported by a personal vehicle near Old Hays; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE. 

4:08pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

7:35pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman, Landusky and Hwy 191 south areas. 

10:02pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta and Short Oil Road areas. 

11:51pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.

 

April 12, 2026

12:47am        Female requested another female be removed from an apartment at Cedarview; Deputy responded; female left the location on her own accord before Deputy’s arrival. 

1:10am          Deputy performed a traffic stop which led to one adult male, Jayden Murnion, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI-1st charges; case file started. 

2:11pm          Deputy released one adult male, Jayden Murnion, from PCSO Jail on bond.

6:55pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

7:42pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

 

April 13, 2026

2:13am          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

4:12am          PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport; local EMT Crew handled. 

7:20am          Female reported an injured deer near the Greenacres turnoff, north of Malta; Undersheriff responded; deer not located. 

8:41am          Sheriff released one adult male, Taylin Johannesen, from PCSO Jail on time served. 

2:52pm          Valley Co Detention Center Officer transported one adult male, Delbert Jackson, to PCSO to be held in PCSO Jail until a Blaine Co SO Deputy could transport to their facility. 

3:32pm          Female reported her neighbor’s dog running loose on a residential street and the caller almost hit it; ACO handled. 

4:51pm          Female reported a vehicle tailgating her on Hwy 2, eastbound from the Harlem area; Deputy handled. 

4:57pm          Female reported an erratic vehicle on Hwy 2, eastbound toward Valley Co; information passed onto Valley Co SO & MHP. 

6:38pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

8:25pm          Female reported a male passed away at a Malta residence; Deputies responded; coroner case file started. 

9:48pm          Female reported being chased by a dog near Phillips Village; ACO handled. 

10:58pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo, Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

 11:54pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

 

April 14, 2026

7:58am          Female reported vandalism to their mailbox posts on Hwy 191 south, near Zortman; Sheriff handled. 

9:06am          Female requested law enforcement assistance with an elderly female from the Landusky area; Undersheriff responded; caller advised to contact Adult Protective Services. 

9:24am          Sheriff performed security checks in the Landusky, Zortman and Hwy 191 south areas. 

2:07pm          Central MT Dispatch advised PCSO of a male being transported to James Kipp Campground by their Deputy; male stated he was trying to get to Malta; male later picked up by a family member. 

11:22pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

 

April 15, 2026

9:50am          Female reported an unauthorized use of her vehicle; Deputy responded; case file started. 

3:10pm          Deputy performed security checks in the downtown Malta area. 

3:47pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

4:19pm          Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle parked alongside of Hwy 2, east of Malta; all found to be okay, driver was cleaning up baby puke.

4:31pm          Deputy performed security checks in the east Malta areas. 

6:20pm          MHP Trooper served a local warrant on one adult female, Charnez Denny, and transported to the Chouteau Co Detention Center. 

6:56pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

7:11pm          Male requested assistance for a female traveling northbound near the Fred Robinson Bridge, and had flat tires; information passed onto Central MT Dispatch; caller later reported family had assisted the female and no law enforcement assistance was needed. 

8:15pm          PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Havre; local EMT Crew handled. 

10:15pm        911 received reporting two semi-truck and trailers had side swiped each other causing damage to driver side doors on both vehicles, east of the Sleeping Buffalo turnoff; Deputy, EMT Crew and Saco FD responded; no one transported to the PC Hospital; case file started.

 

April 16, 2026

12:00am        Male reported a break-in to his residence and possibly stolen items; Deputy responded; case file started. 

1:52am          911 received requesting law enforcement to remove a male from a Dodson residence; Deputy responded; male left the location on his own accord without further incident. 

2:28am          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

7:13am          911 received requesting assistance for the driver who ran out of fuel south of Malta on Hwy 191; local towing company handled. 

9:16am          Female filed a verbal complaint about an ex-girlfriend making threats; Deputy handled. 

12:06pm        Male reported sliding off the Regina Road and damaged a fence; caller advised he would make contact with the property owner. 

12:12pm        Female requested a welfare check on a family member at a Malta business who appeared to be confused; Deputy responded; family friend also responded and took the female to the PC Hospital.
