July 23, 2026

4:01pm          Valley Co SO requested PCSO assistance with locating a mentally ill male traveling from Havre, on Hwy 2; Deputies responded; male located and later transported to meet a VCSO Deputy at the Valley/Phillips Co line. 

5:04pm          Female reported the Dodson crossing had been blocked for over 45 minutes; information passed onto BNSF Police. 

6:11pm          Deputy performed a welfare check on a male sitting near Hwy 2 by Horizon Resources; all found to be okay; male was trying to get to Alaska.

 

July 24, 2026

1:41am          Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle parked at Westside with several individuals inside; all found to be okay; occupants were waiting for the business to open. 

9:43am          Deputy performed security checks in the Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

11:36am        Male filed a written complaint about semi-trucks and trailers speeding on Hwy 363; Deputy responded; family member of the drivers located and advised. 

1:52pm          911 received reporting a grass fire near the KRM south of Malta; Deputy and Malta FD responded; fire controlled and extinguished. 

2:11pm          Individuals filed a written complaint about cell phone fraud; Deputy responded; case file started. 

4:08pm          PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport; local EMT Crew handled. 

4:19pm          Female reported a violation of a Protection Order; Deputy responded; information passed onto Custer Co SO. 

4:19pm          911s received reporting a vehicle, with a busted windshield, driving in Dodson and the driver was possibly intoxicated; Deputies responded; case file started. 

5:01pm          Deputy transported the passenger of the vehicle involved in the above incident to a Dodson residence. 

5:15pm          Deputy transported one adult female, Shaylynn Healy, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI-2nd, Criminal Endangerment-Felony, Driving While Suspended, Open Container and a Blaine Co SO warrant charges.

7:35pm          Male reported hitting a deer near the DY Junction; white form issued. 

7:38pm          911 received requesting an ambulance for an individual who was profusely vomiting at a Phillips Village apt; local EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital. 

8:11pm          Male filed a complaint about someone shooting cats in the Wagner area; Deputy handled. 

10:10pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.

 

July 25, 2026

12:56am        Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman, Camp Creek Campground, Landusky, Route 66 and Hwy 191 south areas.

1:22am          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

9:19am          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

10:46am        Deputy performed security checks in the Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo, Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

11:38am        Male filed a written complaint about death threats received from an unknown number; Deputy handled. 

12:16pm        911 received reporting an unresponsive male in a vehicle near Camp Creek Campground in Zortman; Deputy and EMT Crew responded; male found to be okay and was taking a nap; Ambulance canceled by the Deputy. 

12:56pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Camp Creek Campground, Zortman and Hwy 191 south areas. 

5:51pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas. 

6:04pm          Deputy performed a traffic stop which led to one adult male, Tanner Thompson, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI-2nd charges; Case file started.

7:14pm          Numerous 911s and calls received reporting a lightning started fire near the PCMS Dragstrip; Malta FD responded; fire later controlled and extinguished. 

7:25pm          Male reported a lightning started fire east and south of Malta, near Larb Creek Road; Malta FD responded; Mother Nature assisted with putting this fire out before FD got on scene. 

8:05pm          Male reported a grass fire north of Saco off of Hwy 243; Saco FD responded; fire later controlled and extinguished. 

11:04pm        Deputy released one adult male, Tanner Thompson, from PCSO Jail on bond.

11:32pm        Deputies performed a security walk-thru of Malta High School.

 

July 26, 2026

1:03am          Deputy performed security checks in the Short Oil Road and Malta areas. 

11:05am        Male reported damage to his vehicle parked at a Malta residence; Sheriff responded; case file started. 

12:35pm        911 received requesting a welfare check on a male walking on Hwy 2, west of Malta, for the last couple of days; Sheriff responded; male located, was okay and trying to get to Alaska; male given water as well. 

1:13pm          Sheriff performed security checks in Wagner and Hwy 2 west areas. 

1:32pm          911 received requesting assistance for a suicidal male at a Dodson residence; residence found to be on the reservation; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE. 

1:53pm          Male reported a Zortman business receiving two forged checks; Sheriff responded; case file started. 

3:55pm          Male filed a written complaint about a neighbors indoor/outdoor cats; Deputy responded; information passed onto ACO. 

5:30pm          Female requested law enforcement assistance with a custody exchange at the Sleeping Buffalo rock; Deputy handled. 

9:12pm          Male reported a social media scam; Deputy responded; case file started. 

9:23pm          Female reported her neighbor’s dogs barking for the last 2 hours; owner located and brought the dogs inside. 

9:25pm          Dead air 911 received from a residence on Hwy 363; no contact made with phone owner when called back; Deputy responded; all found to be okay, just a pocket dial. 

9:58pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo, Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

11:30pm        Female reported a male driving by her residence in Malta; Deputy responded; caller advised individuals can drive on a public street.

 

July 27, 2026

2:33am          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.

11:05am        MHP Dispatch requested PCSO assistance with a traffic complaint on Hwy 2, westbound, from the Hinsdale area; Sheriff responded; vehicle later located and driving behavior was okay. 

11:19am        911 received requesting an ambulance at the Sleeping Buffalo outside pool area for a male who had a syncope episode; EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital. 

6:03pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area. 

8:17pm          Deputy transported one adult female, Shaylynn Healy, from PCSO Jail to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time. 

8:21pm          Female reported both Dodson railroad crossings had been blocked for over an hour; information passed onto BNSF Police. 

8:32pm          911 received reporting a tractor fire, east of Malta, near Bowdoin Road; Malta FD responded; fire later controlled and extinguished. 

10:40pm        Ft Belknap LE requested PCSO assistance with a suspicious vehicle traveling eastbound on Hwy 2; Deputies responded; vehicle located and stopped; all found to be okay.

 

July 28, 2026

12:15am        Deputy performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas. 

2:19am          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

10:00am        Female reported a dirt bike and ATV harassing her animals again on Short Oil Road; Undersheriff responded; juveniles located, stopped and advised to stay away from the area. 

11:25am        Male filed a verbal complaint about issues with a neighbor in Saco; Undersheriff handled. 

11:30am        Female requested ACO assistance with a neighbor with “too many cats” in Malta; information passed onto ACO. 

2:18pm          911 received requesting an ambulance for a male with severe nerve pain and could not feel his feet at a residence north of Malta; Undersheriff and EMT Crew responded; patient transported to the PC Hospital. 

3:16pm          911s received reporting a small grass fire on Hwy 2, west of the Sleeping Buffalo turnoff; Malta and Saco FDs responded; burn site located and had already been put out. 

4:14pm          Male reported a semi-truck hauling half a house throwing tire debris on Hwy 2, westbound from the Dodson area; caller was concerned for fires; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE. 

5:42pm          Blaine Co SO received a traffic complaint about an eastbound vehicle that threw something at the caller’s windshield; Deputy responded; vehicle located and situation taken care of without further incident. 

6:56pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

10:21pm        Female requested assistance with her mentally ill family member; Deputy responded; situation taken care of without further incident.

 

July 29, 2026

6:36am          911 received reporting a male shooting the deer on the golf course; local Fish & Game Warden handled. 

8:08am          Male reported large chunks of tire debris on Hwy 2, west of Saco; Deputy responded and removed the debris. 

11:52am        Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a family member; Deputies handled. 

3:45pm          911 received reporting a grass fire west of Saco; Saco FD responded; fire later controlled and extinguished. 

4:29pm          Female reported two juveniles on an ATV on Hwy 191, headed toward Joe’s; Deputy responded; parent/guardian showed up and took the juveniles to their residences; ATV later removed by a licensed driver. 

7:47pm          Male reported an injured deer on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputy responded; deer located, was not injured and had been dead for awhile. 

7:55pm          Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas. 

11:42pm        Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson, PC Fairgrounds and Hwy 2 west areas.
