11:56pm Male reported another male harassing the caller’s son and following him around; Deputy responded; suspect male later located at his residence; information passed onto Probation Officer.

4:24am Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman and Hwy 191 south areas.
1:08pm Deputy assisted with traffic control for Motor Carrier Services Officer performing a traffic stop, on Hwy 2, east of Malta.
6:13pm Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Scott Waters, into PCSO Jail to serve time on sentencing.
6:35pm Deputy performed security checks in the Short Oil Road area.
7:05pm Deputies performed business security checks in the downtown Malta area.
7:08pm BNSF Police reported a crossing arm malfunction at a crossing east of Malta and a maintainer was enroute to repair.
7:22pm Deputy served a Hill Co SO and a Havre PD warrant on one adult male, Cortlan Bickford, and transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on those warrants; case file started.
10:16pm Deputies performed business security checks in the downtown Malta area.
January 10, 2026
1:56am Ft Belknap LE requested PCSO assistance with a vehicle pursuit on Route 66; Deputies responded; Ft Belknap & Blaine Co LE took 3 individuals into custody.
2:41pm Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.
6:09pm Female reported theft of property from a vehicle; Deputy responded; case file started.
6:50pm Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Tanner Thompson, into PCSO Jail to serve time on sentencing.
7:32pm Deputy performed a welfare check on a female walking on Hwy 2, west of Malta; female found to be okay and given a ride to her residence on Hwy 2.
8:33pm Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.
10:27pm Deputy performed security checks in the Saco, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas.
10:57pm Male requested law enforcement assistance with locating an overdue motorist on Hwy 2; Deputies responded; male later located, had been involved in a crash in Valley Co and was currently in the hospital.
11:03pm Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman and Hwy 191 south areas.
11:05pm Deputy performed a traffic stop on Bear Gulch Road, which led to two individuals being transported to PCSO Jail; case file started.
January 11, 2026
12:13am Deputies transported one adult male, Tyler Hanley, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a Hill Co SO warrant and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges.
12:23am Deputy transported one adult female, Oshawna Sorrell, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a Blaine Co SO warrant.
1:03am Deputy transported one adult inmate to the PC Hospital for medical evaluation; inmate later transported back to PCSO Jail.
2:44am Sheriff performed security checks in the Loring, Port of Morgan and Hwy 191 north areas.
11:18am Central MT Dispatch reported a male walking from a disabled vehicle, on Hwy 191 south, near the Fred Robinson Bridge and a Fergus Co SO Deputy was responding to assist.
1:22pm Female reported an abandoned and wrecked vehicle on Bear Gulch Road; caller advised someone was going to remove it later in the day.
1:26pm 911 received requesting assistance for a vehicle that fell off of a jack; local towing company handled.
6:08pm Deputy released one a adult male, Scott Waters, from PCSO Jail on time served.
9:44pm Deputy performed security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.
10:45pm Female reported a disabled vehicle near the Frontage Road/Hwy 2 intersection; Deputies responded; vehicle was having mechanical issues; driver given phone numbers to local businesses.
11:16pm Deputy performed security checks in the Malta and Short Oil Road areas.
January 12, 2026
7:38am Male reported a suspicious person, with 2 dogs, in a CRP field near his residence on Kid Curry Road; Undersheriff responded; female located, was okay and currently walking on Kid Curry Road.
9:25am Male requested law enforcement to remove a family member from the caller’s residence; Sheriff and Undersheriff responded; male left on his own accord.
11:07am Male reported two cattle trucks on Hwy 191 south, near Beaver Creek Road, with hazard lights on; information passed onto Motor Carrier Services.
12:13pm Ft Belknap Child & Family Services requested PCSO assistance with locating a juvenile, possibly at a Dodson residence; Undersheriff responded; juvenile later located by Ft Belknap CFS on the reservation and was okay.
1:14pm Undersheriff performed security checks at the Dodson School.
2:15pm Undersheriff released one adult male, Cortlan Bickford, on bond.
2:49pm Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.
3:48pm Deputy performed security checks in the Saco, Sleeping Buffalo and Hwy 2 east areas.
4:05pm Undersheriff released one adult male, Tyler Hanley, from PCSO Jail and transferred custody to a Hill Co Detention Center Officer.
5:43pm Male reported a juvenile spinning broadies near the caller’s residence; juvenile stopped while the caller was still on the phone; male asked for more patrol in the area.
5:07pm Deputies advised an individual of his erratic and reckless driving on residential streets and advised next time he would be cited.
6:50pm Deputy released one adult male, Tanner Thompson, from PCSO Jail on time served.

8:02am 911 received requesting an ambulance on Chopwood Road; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.
8:39am Undersheriff performed security checks at Malta High School.
12:06pm Undersheriff reported an abandoned vehicle in the middle of the intersection of 6th St/Central Ave; owner located, advised wheels were spinning but vehicle was not moving so she left it to go to the grocery store; vehicle later removed.
1:12pm PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up; local EMT Crew handled.
2:18pm Undersheriff released one adult female, Oshawna Sorrell, from PCSO Jail and transferred custody to Valley Co Detention Center Officer.
3:39pm 911 received requesting an ambulance for a pancreatic attack, south of Dodson; local EMT Crew responded; caller canceled the request shortly after the 911.
5:48pm Male reported being “run off the Hwy” by an oversized load, westbound from the Saco area; Deputy responded; all found to be okay and load had a pilot car.
8:29pm Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.
11:45pm Deputy performed security checks in the Malta and Short Oil Road areas.

10:46am Female reported an abandoned vehicle still on Bear Gulch Road, had been there since Sunday; information passed onto Deputy.
3:31pm Male reported a situation that had occurred with Dodson School employees; School employee also reported the situation; Undersheriff and Deputies handled.
5:51pm Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 areas.
6:14pm Anonymous reported a vehicle all over the Hwy, heading westbound from Saco; Deputy responded; case file started.
7:14pm Deputy transported one adult male, Jacob Bold, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI-3rd charges.

4:13am 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female who fell at Heritage Manor; local EMT Crew responded; patient not transported.

10:42am Female requested assistance from Animal Control for a stray cat, possibly two, at Heritage Manor; information passed onto ACO.
10:46am Male reported a theft of a license plate; Deputy responded; case file started.
11:27am Male reported an abandoned vehicle on Bear Gulch Road; owner located and advised it needed to be removed or it would be towed at their expense.
